Evangelist Angela Renee’ Spates is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and currently resides in Bossier City, Louisiana. God has graciously blessed her to be married to Pastor Lonnie Spates for over 20 years. They are the parents of five children and the joyous grandparents of three.

Evangelist Spates was filled with the Holy Ghost in July 1995 and she and her family became a part of the New Testament Church Family.

In 1997 under the leadership of Bishop Vernon R. Brite Evangelist Spates was mentored in prayer, leadership and he taught her to aggressively serve the Lord in the spirit of excellence. She also received a burden and passion for serving in women’s ministry, a call to preach the gospel and became a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International.

Mothers’ Interceding for Mercy and Salvation International Prayer Group (MIMS) is a powerful ministry that God has given Evangelist Spates to touch and agree with mothers worldwide and teach women to pray in seeking God’s help for our children. She believes that we too must refuse to be comforted and that we must make our voices heard if our children are to abide in the kingdom of God. “A voice is heard in Ramah weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted…” (Matthew 2:18).

Evangelist Spates works in team ministry alongside her husband at City of Truth Apostolic Ministries located at 1325 Hamilton Circle in Bossier City, Louisiana. This team ministry has been birth through a desire to see souls saved and prospering within God’s kingdom. They endeavor as a couple to fulfill the call of God in their lives through teaching home and community bible studies, marriage enrichment classes, and hosting men and women revivals. They are actively engaged in prison ministry and experiencing the life changing power of God working through the lives of those that is incarcerated.

She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Louisiana and enjoys serving and educating the citizens of Northwest Louisiana in buying and selling real estate. She has an Associate Degree in Business from Bossier Parish Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Wiley College. She is the grateful founder of Kingdom Realty and Associates.
